Pu\u00f2 contenere anche quantit\u00e0 variabili di anidride carbonica (CO\u2082), metano (CH\u2084), azoto (N\u2082) e altri gas, a seconda del metodo di produzione.<\/span><\/p><p>I gas di sintesi sono prodotti dalla conversione termica di materiali carboniosi come il carbone, la biomassa o i rifiuti plastici in un ambiente a basso contenuto di ossigeno o con un basso effetto ossidante: Carbone, biomassa o rifiuti plastici in un ambiente a basso contenuto di ossigeno o in un ambiente a basso effetto ossidante.<\/p><p>I processi comuni per la produzione di gas di sintesi sono la gassificazione classica (ad esempio del carbone o della biomassa) o il reforming del gas naturale (con vapore, ossigeno o CO\u2082).<\/p><p>I gas di sintesi vengono utilizzati per la produzione di prodotti chimici come il metanolo, l&#8217;ammoniaca, i carburanti Fischer-Tropsch (carburanti sintetici), la generazione di elettricit\u00e0 e calore o come materia prima per la produzione di idrogeno.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element sintesi speciale che si ottiene dalla gassificazione del legno o di altre biomasse legnose. Si tratta di una miscela di gas infiammabile che ha svolto un ruolo in tempi storici di emergenza (ad esempio, nei veicoli alimentati a gas di legna durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale) e che ora sta assumendo un significato rilevante nel corso della transizione energetica\/energie rinnovabili e del livello di sviluppo tecnico che \u00e8 stato raggiunto.<\/span><\/p><p>Il gas di legna \u00e8 una miscela di gas combustibile prodotta dalla gassificazione termochimica del legno in assenza di ossigeno. \u00c8 composto principalmente da monossido di carbonio (CO), idrogeno (H\u2082), metano (CH\u2084), azoto (N\u2082) e anidride carbonica (CO\u2082).<\/p><p>Il gas di legno viene prodotto in un gassificatore di legno a temperature di circa 800-1.400 \u00b0C. La gassificazione del legno avviene in assenza controllata di ossigeno (pirolisi, ossidazione e riduzione). Questa miscela di gas \u00e8 composta principalmente da monossido di carbonio (CO), idrogeno (H\u2082) e metano (CH\u2084), oltre ad anidride carbonica (CO\u2082) e azoto (N\u2082). In questo modo si vaporizza l&#8217;acqua contenuta. Ci\u00f2 \u00e8 necessario affinch\u00e9 il processo di gassificazione vero e proprio possa funzionare in modo efficiente.  <\/p><p> <strong> Pirolisi (200-500 \u00b0C): <\/strong>Il legno essiccato si decompone sotto il calore in componenti solidi (carbone), gas e sostanze organiche volatili (catrami e oli). Prodotti: Gas di sintesi, catrame, carbone di legna <\/p><p> <strong> Ossidazione (800-1400 \u00b0C): <\/strong>Un apporto controllato di aria (o ossigeno) viene utilizzato per bruciare alcuni dei prodotti della pirolisi. Il calore risultante stimola le reazioni di pirolisi e riduzione. Reazioni:  <\/p><ul><li>C + O\u2082 \u2192 CO\u2082 H\u2082 + \u00bd O\u2082 \u2192 H\u2082O<\/li><\/ul><p> <strong> riduzione (800-1000 \u00b0C): <\/strong>Nella zona calda, il carbone rimanente reagisce con CO\u2082 e H\u2082O, tra gli altri, per formare gas di legna combustibile. Reazioni: <\/p><ul><li>C + CO\u2082 \u2192 2CO<\/li><li>C + H\u2082O \u2192 CO + H\u2082<\/li><li>C + 2 H\u2082O \u2192 CO\u2082 + 2 H\u2082<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Purificazione e utilizzo del gas: <\/strong>il gas di legna caldo viene scaricato dal reattore e purificato in sistemi di filtraggio (vengono rimossi catrame, polvere ed eventuali condensati) e poi utilizzato per generare
